Ethnic self identification of Jordanians?

This question is for Jordanians, people who know them well and people who consider themselves ethnologists (if you cant't figure out that big word, then it most likely doesn't apply to you, so don't bother). What ethnic group(s) do you consider yourself to fall into? For instance, Iranians are mostly Persian, Egyptians are mostly Egyptian, Afghans are Pashto, Kazakh, Uzbek and Turkmen, and many people throughout the mid-east consider themselves Arabs, while others (even in areas where the Arabism is undeniable) consider themselves to be very non-Arabic. Also, what ancient, native Jordanian civilization do you consider yourselves the descendants and heirs of? Someone please tell me I'm not the only person thinking of these things and that I'm not entirely crazy.
