The tile adhesive i am trying to get of my floor is black and gets sticky when heated. Any advise....?

Well when you said black and sticky I instantly went back to childhood and thought of that ugly old tile (VCT) in my parents house..LOL Yes it's a messy job I'll agree. It would be easier to just cover it up and move on but your talking some added expense, more labor and time consuming. I'm going to stick with the chemical adhesive removers. I wish I knew if it was on concrete or wood but you just brush a semi-paste chemical on and let it sit. Adhesive gets very slick and slimy, sc it up with putty / broad knife (6-12inch wide) wash with hot water a few times and throw your brush away!!! I suggest wearing knee pads and covering the toes of an old pair of shoes with tape....oh yeah and gloves. I just don't think the added height of a new substrate will benefit you if you don't have too. Hope all these suggestions help!!! Good Luck!

Hi I need help in buffer solutions. lets take this problem as an example: Calculate the PH of 0.200 M HC3H5O2 and 0.200 M NaC3H5O2. How do I know which one is the weak base or acid and which one is the conjugate base/acid? Ok, I'm just starting college and I want to meet allot of new people make friends. Really enjoy the college experience, since its suppose to be the best time of your life... But sadly I'm shy and quiet have trouble talking to new people jugging when is a good time to say something stuff like that. I have a few high school friends with completely different schedules so their in cl or not their when I am. I have meet a few people but I want to meet many people get good friends really enjoy it. Any advice? No negative comments, and don't say you will grow out of it, since that's not happening. I'm not like really Wired or anything just shy and quiet. Please help.
